A failed drive is not always a lost drive. Hard drives, SSDs, USB sticks, memory cards, external drives — we work out what has actually gone wrong, because a corrupted file system is a very different job from physical damage, then tell you plainly what is recoverable and what is not. You get the likely outcome and the cost before we start, and if we do not believe we can get your data back we will say so rather than bill you to find out.
